Kill Your Website
My comment on this article:
I think a nice way to get the best of both worlds is to see things the other way around. People used to have a very static website and then a blog in a subdirectory, like xyz.com/blog.
What I like to do, is to have a blog on the root of the domain to make everything personal and also to give a reason for people to come back, but still have a “business” section with a full static website. So instead of having xyz.com/blog, you get xyz.com/business or something like that. People still have access to a more corporate website with static information about your products and services, but the main page is a blog.
Also, as some people pointed out, not every solution fits every business.
